Peaches and Cream Cake

This peaches and cream cake recipe using our Sweet Peach Halves is really good!

Ingredients

Cake Layer
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 6 tbsp melted butter


Peach and Topping
- 1 quart Sweet Peach Halves
- 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 6 tbsp reserved peach juice
- Cinnamon and sugar for sprinkling


Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
2. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and cornstarch in a bowl. Make a well in the center and add vanilla, eggs, milk, and melted butter. Mix until smooth. Spread the batter in the prepared pan.
3. Slice the Sweet Peach Halves and scatter the slices over the batter.
4. Beat cream cheese, sugar, and peach juice until creamy. Drop spoonfuls of this mixture over the peaches and spread evenly. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
5. Bake for 45-60 minutes, until the edges are golden and the cream cheese layer has bubbled. Cool before serving. Enjoy!
